On Saturday March 27, the municipality invited residents to a “citizen’s day.” About thirty people answered the call.
From 8:30 am, several groups divided into various places to clean up. “To comply with health measures, the groups were made up of a maximum of 3 or 4 people,” explained the mayor, Pascal López. “So we were able to clean the cemetery gates and repaint the stream in front of the town hall,” he explains. The afternoon was spent cleaning the outskirts of the village and, in particular, the banks of the Doubs. Like every year, too much waste was transported to the Brevans recycling center. The next operation with the participation of the inhabitants is scheduled for Saturday, May 8, with the flourishing of the village.
