Wild deposits have been observed several times in the city, especially on Thursday March 18, as shown in the photo.
The City Council, which systematically files a complaint, is obliged to proceed with the removal of this waste, which puts pressure on the municipality’s operating budget.
These acts of discourtesy are reprehensible: according to article L541-46 of the Environmental Code, the penalty imposed on the perpetrators of these acts can be up to 2 years in prison and a fine of 75,000 euros.
As a reminder, even if the Rillieux-la-Pape recycling center is currently closed, there are several recycling centers available in the area:
• a temporary waste collection center at the Veolia Digitale site: 105 avenue du 8-Mai-1945 in Rillieux-la-Pape, open Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• The Caluire-et-Cuire waste collection center: 62 impasse des Lièvres, open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• the Neuville-Genay recycling center: avenue des Frères-Lumière in Neuville-sur-Saône, open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. .
Furthermore, in Cailloux-sur-Fontaines, door-to-door waste collection takes place every Monday (gray bins) and every Thursday (sorting bins).
