Saint-Just-en-Chevalet. A playful space in the extension of the campsite basin

This basin was created to collect parasitic water and ensure that it is used in dry spells to irrigate football field lawns, municipal green spaces and, if necessary, for firefighters. It had been designed to fit in with the wooded and natural landscape.

“According to the wishes of the municipality, explains Mayor Pascal Poncet, this place should be fun and welcoming. This is done in part with the installation of tables and benches. These facilities will soon be completed with a petanque court between the river and the basin and a family barbecue. This recently completed facility integrates the city’s sports and leisure complex.

It will be accessible from the municipal road leading to the site, through the stadium through an existing walkway and through the campsite for the disabled. Along the aforementioned lane, parking will be provided. The municipality has also acquired a continuous plot to ensure territorial control of all places.
