Bard. About thirty families take on the challenge of Z’Héros waste

On Saturday morning, place du Perron, some thirty families were present to participate in this new challenge. The municipal council and the citizen ecological transition committee with the Loire Forez agglomeration association offered the families of the municipality to participate in the Z’Héros waste challenge. The objective of this challenge is to learn to reduce waste, with a friendly, simple and benevolent spirit.

A first step of a month

On Saturday was the launch of phase 1 with the delivery to the participating households of the tools (load cell, weighing sheet) and the necessary information. For four weeks each household will weigh its waste (household, yellow box, glass, compost) without changing its habits.

On April 2, after the evaluation of these four weeks, it will be the common challenge to reduce waste. For eight weeks, from April 5 to May 30, each household will continue to weigh its waste, trying to reduce its mass. Trainings will be organized to learn, thanks to “small gestures” to do differently.
