Sustainable food is a global issue that is played especially at the local level. Hence the desire of three major players in the region to join forces “to act together for sustainable food.”
Thus, Suez, the Métropole de Lyon and their press group have been working on a program of events called GOOD for a year, to highlight good practices related to healthy agriculture and environmentally friendly consumption patterns.
Propose local initiatives
Examples are not lacking in the metropolitan area, as the members of the GOOD Program Committee have already pointed out. It is made up of about fifteen engineers, doctors, researchers, experts and representatives of the agricultural world. Your vocation? Offer the public local initiatives that offer nutritional balance, respect for taste but also the Earth’s nutritional resources. All with a spirit that aspires to be positive, therefore constructive and unifying.
Solidarity supermarkets, short circuits, associations that advocate zero waste appear more and more in the panorama of the region and the phenomenon seems to be accentuated with the health crisis. All that remains is to hope that the latter is completed as soon as possible so that the first major GOOD event, which includes lectures, debates and an “experiential” journey, sees the light of day in Lyon. In the meantime, you can check the website dedicated to the event.
