Ain. Fog and ice in places on the roads of the department

Traffic conditions can be delicate on the morning of Tuesday, January 19 in the East of the Department due to slippery pavements due to the formation of ice due to the negative temperatures and humidity of the pavements.

Special equipment is recommended for your travels in height and when crossing Col de La Faucille.

Interventions are being carried out on the departmental road network, especially in the Bugey, Haut-Jura and Pays-Bellegardien sectors. Caution is advised.

Note the presence of fog above 500 m in the Bellegarde and Péron sectors and the presence of icy fog in the Dombes, La Côtière, La Plaine de l’Ain and Vallée-du-Rhône sectors.

Floods: two roads cut off

Two departmental highways are still closed to traffic this morning due to flooding:

– RD 83 in Lavours, in the extreme east of the department, on the border with Savoie.

– RD 126 in Arbigny, in the extreme northwest of the department.
