The construction of 43 pavilions began in the summer of 2020. Le Clos des Viards is a project between the municipality of Saint-Denis and the social owner Ain Habitat. The 43 pavilions, which will have a garage and a lawn area, are type IV individual dwellings with an area of 85 to 93 m².
“The bases of the 22 homes destined for membership are underway. 16 are already on the market and can be delivered in the second quarter of 2022, and 11 reservations have been identified, explains Clémence Billet, transaction advisor at Ain Habitat. The 21 rental units will be delivered in the first quarter of 2023 and rental assignments will not be made before the end of 2022. “
The subdivision is close to the western ring road, between the Pré Joli municipal park and the driving school track, near which the pavilions for rent will be built.
The municipality presented this project at a public meeting in July 2020: “The 21 rental units are eligible for the Urban Solidarity and Renewal Law (SRU) to which the municipality must reach 20% of social housing by 2025. There will be 60 rental units to be built, ”Mayor Guillaume Fauvet had specified.
