On July 1, the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners approved an agreement that will give the IMPACT! Group sole responsibility for administering the program. The group will also be responsible for all operation and maintenance costs related to the homes located in Graves Park, Harbins Park, J.B. Williams Park, Lenora Park and Little Mulberry Park.
"We greatly appreciate the cooperation from Gwinnett County in support of our current $2 million IMPACT! For Vets capital campaign focused on delivering much-needed housing and specialized services for nearly 3,600 homeless veteran families in our community," said IMPACT! President and CEO Tom Merkel in a released statement.
