COMPUTER TAKEN: A Buford woman said someone entered her unlocked home and took her Samsung laptop computer while she was out getting her nails done on the afternoon of May 6. The woman said the laptop had been left on the desk in her office, which is near the front door of the Stoneleigh Run Drive home. The laptop has an estimated value of $1,500.
BROKEN LOCK: A Buford man called police after noticing the lock of his Copper Creek Way home had been broken and a lockbox containing a key to the home had been taken. Nothing was missing from inside the home, which is currently under construction. The man said there have been other similar incidents at the site.
WALLET FALLS INTO WRONG HANDS: Shortly after leaving home on May 10, a Dacula woman realized she had left her wallet on the back of her vehicle before driving away from her Hill Circle residence. The woman returned to her house, but was unable to find the wallet. Her bank advised someone had attempted to make an $88 charge with her card at an Atlanta Highway gas station in Auburn within half an hour of the time she realized the wallet was missing. The woman was able to cancel all her cards and checks before the thief was able to obtain any money.
