The following Dacula, Buford and other northern Gwinnett County criminal incidents were recently investigated by the Gwinnett County Police Department:
WINDOW SMASHED AT PARK: A Monroe woman's visit to Harbins Park on April 21 ended with a car break-in. The thief or thieves smashed the rear door window of the woman's 1999 GMC Yukon in order to steal a purse which had been left inside the vehicle. The theft is believed to have occurred between 12:45 p.m. and 1 p.m. There are no known witnesses.
WALLET TAKEN: A Gainesville woman left her wallet on the sink after washing her hands in the restroom at the Buford Golden Corral on April 19. As soon as she realized she had forgotten her wallet, she returned to the restroom but the wallet was gone. The wallet contained the woman's drivers license, Social Security card, insurance card, a credit card and $500 in cash. The woman spoke with the manager who said no one had turned in the missing property. The case is listed as active.
