The following Dacula and Buford incidents were recently investigated by the Gwinnett County Police Department:
PARKING SPOT ALTERCATION: A dispute over a parking spot at the Mall of Georgia prompted a Lawrenceville woman to contact police on April 12. The 42-year-old woman told police she "did not try to take the parking spot from the male," but the report did not include any further details regarding the origins of the parking spot dispute. The male reportedly became angry and approached the woman's vehicle while she was still inside, ultimately striking the passenger side of the woman's vehicle with his hand. According to the police report, the woman "wanted to prosecute the male for him terrorizing her." The woman was able to provide police with a tag number of the man's vehicle. The case is listed as active.
CAR BREAK-INS: At least three cars were broken into during the overnight hours of April 13 in The Terraces subdivision in Dacula. A River Valley Drive resident reported a $190 pair of sunglasses were taken out of his unlocked vehicle. A Glen Valley Way resident reported the theft of an iPhone charger out of his unlocked vehicle. Another Glen Valley Way resident indicated her unlocked vehicle had been entered and searched, but no items appeared to be missing.
