Early next year, a new medical office and urgent care center will open in Dacula. The facility -- Northeast Georgia Physicians Group Dacula -- is part of the growing Northeast Georgia Health System which includes a new hospital set to open in spring of 2015.
The 9,534-square-foot Dacula facility will house five providers and feature 15 exam rooms, a lab, conference room, procedure room and x-ray room. The office is expected to open as early as December of 2014, according to NGHS public relations specialist Angie Highsmith.
NGPG Dacula is scheduled to open shortly after construction is completed on the new NGPG Hamilton Mill office located at 3575 Braselton Highway. That office has an estimated completion date of October 2014.
