Three men believed to be responsible for at least one daytime burglary in the Hamilton Mill subdivision in Dacula have been booked into the Gwinnett County Detention Center.
Gwinnett County Police executed a search warrant at 3600 Jim Moore Road, Dacula, on April 3 after investigators developed probable cause to believe residents of the home may be responsible for several area burglaries.
Three men were transported to the Gwinnett County Police Department for further questioning and, according to police, are facing charges for the most recent burglary, which took place on April 2 on Coopers Mill Court.
That burglary occurred only a short distance away from the Jim Moore Road home where the three men* -- Jacorey Lewis, 20, of Dacula, Jayson Gonsalves, 19, of Buford and Darius Rouse, 20, also of Buford -- were located. The Coopers Mill Court home backs up to Jim Moore Road as does a Ridgemill Circle home burglarized on March 31 and another Ridgemill Circle residence that was burglarized on March 26. A fourth daytime burglary took place on March 27 on nearby Carriage Glen Way.
Thousands of dollars worth of electronics, jewelry and weapons were taken in the burglaries.
Draper provided police with serial numbers for many of the electronics at the time the burglary report was taken. He found the box the camera came in today and called to have that number added to the report. Police, he said, were able to match that number to a camera they found. Draper said he is very careful to retain such information and encourages others to do likewise.
Lewis, Gonsalves and Rouse were booked into the jail Thursday evening. The listed charge for each of the men is a single count of burglary.
Police indicated additional charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues.

*Editor's note: An earlier version of this story included a typographical error in the spelling of the suspect's last name. The correct last name is Rouse, not Rose. Additionally, the first name was listed in a police press release as Darius, but jail records indicate his first name is Davias. Another suspect is listed in the police press release as Jacorey Lewis and in jail records as Jacori Lewis. UPDATED April 4 - Jail records have been corrected to match the spelling in the initial press release.
