The Hamilton Mill resident told Gwinnett County Police that she left her Ridgemill Circle home at 6 a.m. and returned around 4:15 p.m. When she entered her house through the garage, she immediately noticed the back door glass had been shattered and several electronic items that had been stored under the television were missing.
The woman exited the home and called police. An officer checked the home to make sure the burglar or burglars were no longer inside and then asked the woman to walk through the home to determine what had been taken.
Among the items listed as missing in the incident report were a Sony PS3 gaming console, an Xbox 360, several video games, a bass guitar, a Sony tablet, a Nook e-Reader and a Nikon camera. A diaper bag was also taken.
In addition to the damaged back door, the resident also advised a rear window had been damaged.
There are no known witnesses or suspects. The case is listed as active.
