Can the promise of a visit from the "Be Good Fairy" motivate children to behave, work hard and reach goals? A Dacula mother believes so and has written a book outlining a creative and "magical" way to reward children for good behavior.
"The Be Good Fairy" by Missy Wallen-Nichols addresses behavioral issues such as sharing, school conduct, potty training and more. When children meet behavioral milestones, the "Be Good Fairy" will visit and reward them with a special gift for their achievement.
Wallen-Nichols created the "Be Good Fairy" concept as a way to motivate her son.
"For me, it was getting my son to go to bed, and once I introduced him to the Be Good Fairy, he was literally throwing us out of his room at bed time," she said.
"The Be Good Fairy" is available in print and eBook formats. For more information, visit The Be Good Fairy website.
