Among the voting items on Thursday night's agenda is the adoption of a formal credit card policy. During last week's work session, city attorney Dennis Still presented a draft ordinance which city leaders hope will prevent future situations similar to the one that resulted in the arrest of Dacula City Councilman Gregory Reeves in March. Reeves is accused of making approximately $3,600 worth of improper charges with his city-issued card.
City leaders are also set to vote on an amendment to the agreement between the City of Dacula and Republic Services of Georgia for curbside recycling which would lock in the present rate for two years and a $11,250 quote from Municode to codify the city's ordinances.
The Dacula City Council meets at Dacula City Hall located at 442 Harbins Road in Dacula.
