The registration deadline for the 21st annual Dacula Memorial Day Parade is Friday, May 16. All entries must be postmarked on or before that day.
UPDATE June 23, 2014 - Due to a lack of vendors, HMUMC will not be hosting a farmers' market this year.
Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church, located at 1450 Pine Road in Dacula, will hold a weekly farmers' market from May 21 through Aug. 6.

Mill Creek High School held a car show on Saturday, March 22, to raise funds for Relay for Life.
Sixty-five car owners took part in the event, which was part of Mill Creek's year-long Relay for Life fundraising efforts. Earlier in the school year, the Mill Creek Relay for Life team organized the Miss Portray pageant, hosted pictures with Santa and held a "Pink Week" fundraiser in an attempt to meet the team's $50,000 goal for 2014.
On April 27, the Gwinnett Community Market will open for the 2014 season at the North Atlanta Trade Center, located at 1700 Jeurgens Court in Norcross.
Applications are now being accepted for farmers, growers and crafters interested in participating in the weekly market.
The indoor farmers market will feature food trucks, fresh produce, freshly baked goods, all natural pet treats, handmade soaps and lotions, fresh flowers and live plants, unique gifts from local artisans and more.
The market will be held each Sunday beginning April 27 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Mill Creek High School will host a car show on March 22, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. to benefit Relay for Life.
The show is free for spectators. The cost to show your car, truck, import or bike is $20.
