Last week, you learned how to take the next step in severe weather preparedness by knowing your risk, being prepared and inspiring others
While National Severe Weather Preparedness Week is over, the need to be prepared is not. Tornadoes, thunderstorms, blizzards, hurricanes and other disasters do not arrive when it’s most convenient for us. An emergency can happen anytime. Be a Force of Nature by being prepared for the worst.
In addition to National Severe Weather Preparedness Week, many states have their own severe weather preparedness weeks. Check the Weather Awareness Events Calendar to find yours.
